SHOPPING: Chiefland has several grocery stores, florists, bait stores, hardware stores, marine stores, beauty shops, barbers, convenience stores with gas, automotive, and many retail stores for your convenience.  If you feel that you need to shop outside of Chiefland, it is approximately a 40 minute drive to Gainesville.
